Day-by-Day Itinerary
Ayubowan! Welcome to Sri Lanka. Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB), you will be warmly greeted by your personal Aadith Travels chauffeur guide. Board your comfortable, modern air-conditioned vehicle and journey to Sigiriya, the cultural heartland of the island. Spend the evening relaxing at your beautiful eco-resort.
Conquer the 8th Wonder of the World in the fresh morning air! Ascend the 1,200 steps of Sigiriya Lion Rock, passing the historical frescoes and the grand lion paws, to reach the breathtaking summit ruins. In the afternoon, enjoy an authentic village experience including a traditional catamaran ride, a bullock-cart ride, and a live demonstration of rural Sri Lankan cooking followed by a traditional buffet lunch.
Depart for the sacred royal city of Kandy. En route, explore the Dambulla Cave Temple complex, a marvelous collection of 5 caves packed with ancient Buddhist statues and murals dating back to the 1st century BC. Arrive in Kandy, check in to your hotel, and witness a vibrant Cultural Dance Show in the evening, followed by a visit to the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
